Rebecca's Picture of the Moment

This picture of the Pacific Ocean was taken from Monterey, California, just down the street from Cannery Row. Although we didn't visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, we found some sea life of our own. Down on the beach, we explored the tide pools, and found sea anemones and little crabs. While eating lunch in a restaurant overlooking the harbor, we saw several seals following the fishing boats in and hoping for a snack. There were also a ton of seals hanging out by the Coast Guard pier. We could hear them from quite far away in the car, and had to drive around searching a while before we finally found them.
